'Good' Ofsted and SIAMS Inspections
2022/2023 was officially a 'Good' year for The Rainbow Multi Academy Trust with all six inspections since September 2022 achieving a 'Good' outcome. There were four Ofsted Inspections and two SIAMS Inspections (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools). St Meriadoc Junior Ofsted September 2022 "Pupils really like coming to this friendly, welcoming school. Governors and leaders from the multi academy trust and the diocese work closely with school leaders ... they ensure a smooth transition for pupils who are new to the school so that they can start with confidence."
Grampound with Creed SIAMS January 2023 "An inspirational Christian vision … is having a transformative impact ... enabling staff and pupils to ‘let their lights shine’. Very good support from the trust and the diocese enables school leaders to implement necessary changes in a supportive and nurturing manner."
Troon Ofsted October 2022 "Troon Primary is a nurturing and inclusive school. Leaders from the multi academy trust and governors know the school and its surroundings well. They provide effective support and challenge to school leaders."
St Meriadoc Infant SIAMS February 2023 "The vision inspires the school in its care for pupils and families, so all flourish. The Rainbow Multi-Academy Trust provides support and grows new Church school leaders."
St Meriadoc Infant Ofsted March 2023 "Pupils are happy at this community-focused school. The trust and local governors, with the support of the diocese, work well together to ensure oversight of leaders’ actions. Robust evaluations … are having an impact."
